Soon after furthering her career at Monash University (South Africa) she was selected to present a paper on her teaching at The Vice-Chancellor's Showcase of Teaching Excellence at Monash University held in Melbourne, Australia. Her teaching evaluations are ranked among the top 10% of Monash University overall. Furthermore, Ms Meintjes published with her colleague Dr Ilse Niemann-Struweg an article in the Public Relations Review which is the leading (and oldest) international refereed public relations journal published by Elsevier in its 35th year and has a SSCI of 0.3.
